'Istanbul Unveiled' is a documentary film that is part of a series, 'Cultural Interactions'. A variety of colorful and interesting people from Turkish culture, from one of the richest women in Turkey to a masseur at a public bath and the best belly dancer in the country were chosen. By this way, interaction with a large cultural cross-section of local people providing a much richer experience was preferred. The selection of interviewees and the questions are based on Şerif Yenen's 25 years of field experience as a tourist guide and a travel writer.

With this experience, the needs and interests of true travelers can easily be anticipated, real İstanbul is seen by way of the back door, and the philosophy behind the culture is revealed.
